THE HARDWARE

  • steel hull

  • bilge keels - she can take the ground, she can sit on dry land unpropped

  • 30 foot long (42 feet including bowsprit)

  • draws less than 4 feet

  • 30 hp engine

  • two masts, six yards, ten sails

 

THE CREW

  • 2 + 5

  • Captain

  • deckhand

  • fIve trainees

(big solid steady boat, little ropes with light loads, very easy to sail)

THE FUN

we can sail with younger trainees, disabled trainees, people who are not sure about sailing on a bigger ship, people who have sailed on bigger ships and want to revisit the fun

 

we can make anyone familiar with square rig and how it works (tacking, wearing, different sail combinations) in a morning

stick us on a lowloader and find a crane that can lift 8 tonnes and we can sail on any bit of water miles away from the sea
